You will be responsible for:

• managing large-scale infrastructure projects, assisting in the design and development of the ICT infrastructure, developing project plans, and overseeing the implementation of the assigned projects;

• participating in design coordination for ICT infrastructure in building development; liaising with and managing consultants, contractors and vendors for WKCD ICT projects;

• working with IT senior management and application managers to ensure the effective delivery of a networking systems;

• cultivating and disseminating knowledge of network management best practices; seeking out opportunities to leverage network infrastructure best practices;

• developing collaborative/cooperative work protocol, working in a team with members from different expertise, places and cultures to achieve collective goals;

• collaborating with the cybersecurity manager to develop and implement security controls to the Authority's network and ensuring all components of the IT infrastructure are up-to-date with the latest security patches and updates.

• participating in the Architecture Governance Board to ensure the proposed design or changes to the IT infrastructure would have no potential impact to the network operations and maintenance;

• providing hand-on support as needed in router & switch management and firewall management;

• managing the procurement process and maintain documentation, operational procedures and guidelines; and

• creating proposals for the new/existing systems and working in collaboration with the procurement team to issue the RFQ/Tender.

You should:

• possess a recognised university degree or above in computer science, information technology or equivalent;

• have at least 10 years of relevant experience with at least 5 years of experiences in infrastructure lead role for managing enterprise network preferably in sizable organisation;

• have a professional certificate in CCNP or above;

• preferably have certifications in PMP, PRINCE2 and ITIL;

• have an in-depth understanding of IT infrastructure solution concepts on DNS, network LAN/WAN, VPN, Wi-Fi, SDN, VoIP, IP routing configurations, virtualization technologies, active directory, Windows/Linux operating systems;

• have ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment;

• have excellent communication and interpersonal skills; and

• be proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese.
