SCOPE

The Digital Designer is responsible for creating branding and marketing materials for a variety of projects. Work encompasses production, print and digital media design. Position is an integral part of a design team.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Create eDM and other custom marketing materials from given content
• Participate in design sessions to comprehend the business requirement and solution to be delivered; Design graphics as required by customers (Internal and External) while maintaining the Mouser corporate look and branding on all content
• Revise existing site pages
• Proactively organize work-flow, multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, rapidly growing environment
• Positive, proactive, and a strategic thinker who understands the fundamental principles of graphic design and layout
• Supports and participates in company total quality process; represents the company in a professional manner; and is trustworthy and maintains confidentiality

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelors Degree in Arts or Digital Design
• 4-6 years experience
• Or approved equivalent combination of education and experience

SKILLS & CERTIFICATIONS

• Attention to detail and ability to accept direction from the marketing team
• Proficiency in all aspects of HTML, CSS, Javascript and designing to cross browser web standards
• Proficiency in the use of MAC computer
• Proficient in Photoshop and Dreamweaver is a must. Knowledge in Adobe CS5, digital, rich media, specifically InDesign, Illustrator, Flash is an advantage.
