Description
Reporting to the C-suite, you will serve as the HR strategist and business partner to the leadership team, driving the company's strategy, culture, values, and continuous organizational development. You will collaborate closely with the global HR team to ensure smooth and efficient HR operations across multiple locations, including the headquarters. While local countries can operate independently at a BAU level, your primary role will be to design and develop group-level initiatives, programs, and HR policies across organizational structure, compensation and benefits, retention, recruitment, performance management, succession planning, global mobility, training and development, and employee relations, ensuring compliance with HR standards and local regulations. You will stay closely connected with the business, providing analytics and insights on budget, manpower planning, talent management, risk management, and balancing an effective total reward strategy to meet business needs and maintain market competitiveness. As a core member of the leadership team, you will stay informed about global news and trading policies to propose timely HR strategies and effectively communicate changes with country leaders regarding upcoming developments. Our client is looking for a candidate with experience in senior-level recruitment and expat management, with expertise in total rewards. Experience in managing cross-country C&B alignment and post-M&A harmonization and integration is highly sought after.
Profile
This senior leadership position requires a degree-qualified candidate with over 20 years of experience leading regional or global HR functions for sizable corporations. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in delivering HR initiatives and programs at the regional or global level, particularly in total rewards, global mobility, succession planning, and organizational development. As a true HRBP and people leader, you will possess excellent leadership, critical thinking, strategic communication, and presentation skills, along with a strong presence in the boardroom and the ability to build relationships with the C-suite and country leadership teams. You will be highly analytical, with the ability to communicate effectively using numbers, data, and insights, which is crucial for this role. Proficiency in spoken and written English, Mandarin, and Cantonese is essential.
