URGENT IT Helpdesk Analyst (6 months) - Major European Bank

Company Overview

Our client is one of the largest and most well known European banks, with a significant presence in Hong Kong and Asia Pacific. You will be working in a team of 6 helpdesk engineers to provide day-to-day IT support to end users in Hong Kong. The ideal candidate would also have some systems and network operations experience in addition to helpdesk experience in a financial services company (ie. bank, insurance company, etc.).

Description

  • Daily Tier 1 and 2 helpdesk support (hardware, software, systems, network)
  • Escalate any issues to Tier 3 or external vendors as needed
  • Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software systems, including upgrades and patches
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, including network connectivity, email, operating systems, and software applications
  • Identify and suggest improvements to the IT infrastructure to enhance performance and reliability
  • Document and track technical issues and resolutions in a ticketing system

Profile

  • Diploma or above in Information Systems, Computer Science or any relevant degree
  • 2+ years of experience in IT support, ideally in a financial services firm (not a must)
  • Experience in Windows 10, Outlook 2016, Office 2016, Active Directory would be most ideal
  • Experience in supporting Bloomberg, Reuters, etc. would be a plus
  • Strong communication skills in English and Cantonese is a must
