Major Duties:
(a) To perform administrative duties in respect of one or more of the following areas:
(i) Human resources management;
(ii) Student and course related administration;
(iii) Administrative academic support (e.g. student admissions, student services, student records activities and matters relating to programme planning and operation); and
(iv) General administration and facilities management;
(b) To assist in conducting research, drafting, editing, and preparing correspondences, proposal, reports, papers etc.;
(c) To assist in the formulation, implementation and review of operational policies, systems and procedures;
(d) To provide secretarial and administrative support to various boards / committees / working groups;
(e) To liaise with professional bodies, government departments and the industries concerned to promote departmental programmes and services;
(f) To supervise and coordinate the work of clerical and supporting staff;
(g) To assist in coordinating projects and events as assigned; and
(h) To implement the quality policy of the Institutes.
Requirements:
(a) A recognised degree or equivalent;
(b) At least 2 years’ relevant experience at the executive level, preferably in educational institutions or major organisations;
(c) Preferably with substantial experience in course administration in tertiary educational institutions;
(d) Good communication, interpersonal, organization and administrative skills;
(e) Proficiency in spoken and written English and Chinese, preferably with knowledge of Putonghua; and
(f) Ability to work independently and under pressure.
Notes :
(1) Shortlisted candidates will be required to take a written assessment in both English and Chinese.
(2) The work location is in Pokfulam or Tin Shui Wai.
(3) The appointee may be required to perform duties outside normal office hours and in designated places as assigned.
