Our IT Operations, Systems Assurance and Shenzhen Technology Centre drives and leverages technology refreshment and best practice service management principles, to provide cost-effective and efficient infrastructure and technical environment, system/test assurance, data centre management and valued end-user services.

The Job

You will:

• Perform technical support on assigned a project to ensuring the SDN-based new network design and implementation plan according to the ITOB build and migration program in support of data center migration
• Work with the New Network Architect to assess the risk and impact to the business of existing and future business applications implementations and migration
• Analyze business requirements and solution and then define the implementation strategy and low level design for the rollout
• Review and validate implementation plan, test cases and technical acceptance results
• Coordinate various network implementation and acceptance tests. Support and advise Project Management colleagues on risk and other potential issues in the technical domain.
• Work with BAU teams in adopting the Club's PLDC practice throughout the IT infrastructure lifecycle deployment.
• Serves as a Network subject matter expert to the ITOB (Data Center Migration) project
• Liaison with external vendors and 3rd party consultants.
• Align personal development plan with business objectives and embrace the transformation to move the team/department forward.

About You

You should have:

• At least 8 years working experience in IT industry with not less than 1 year experience working in data center network build and/or migration
• Good understanding of network infrastructure implementation and operation
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to present technical information and statistics to the management
• Proven vendor management and communication skill and able to lead an effective discussion
• 2 to 3 years of project delivery and implementation experience is an advantage
• Good knowledge of Cisco, Fortinet, Checkpoint, Imperva, F5, Zscaler and Palo Alto
• Knowledge of network management and ITIL operation process
• Knowledge of network management tool and process, which include asset scanning, topology review, configuration scanning, security review and other automation tools
• Cloud Computing/Platform experience is a plus
• Knowledge of automation scripting (e.g. Ansible / Python)
• Cisco CCNP and/or equivalent, F5 and Firewall product certification required

Terms of employment
The level of appointment will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. A contract employment will be offered to the successful candidate. Contract renewal will be subject to mutual agreement between the Club and the individual.
