Responsibilities:
- To lead the project for File Server’s Data Relocation and AD Server migration
- To help team leader to ensure the system implemented or supported can meet users’ requirements on an agreed timeframe and within budget
- To monitor project progress and re-allocate tasks and resources if necessary
- To assist and coach junior team members to deliver their work with good quality
- To ensure the developers to follow the system development standards, quality management in their work
- To work on other programming and documentation projects as required
- To monitor the working of the different applications; particular Retails application and check that all the work is being carried out smoothly
- To explore the details of the applications thoroughly and then find out the possible problems
- To assist end-users in understanding the different ways in which they can make smart use of the application
- If any problems have been detected in the application, it is their task to solve the issues and work on them yet again
- To constantly monitor the applications and keep looking for possible problems and fix them so that they can work smoothly
- To carry out system integration tests and user acceptance tests to ensure the stability in production stage
- To perform system checking and implementation of programs for performance tuning, troubleshooting and maintenance
- To develop and maintain technical documentation of software solutions
- To provide on-site support for Stores
- To provide in-house support
- To collect user requirements and analysis for system development
- To support on user acceptance test and user training
- To support training and assist in relevant materials preparation, as and when required
Requirements:
- Diploma or above in Business or Technologies Management/Computer Science/Computer Studies/Electronic Engineering or related discipline
- Experience in the garment / apparel functions. Those with experience in retail shop operation
- Over 5 years of Application/System support at Retails industrial
- Experience in retails solution support
- Experience in in-house, store and cross country support service
- Experience in corporate IT support including MS SQL, Windows/Linux operating system, business application systems
- Experience in network equipment saying at Firewall (Cisco & Sonic Wall), Switch support in configuration and setup
- Experience in J2EE; experience in application development and management, system implementation and maintenance/support, HTML, JavaScript and SQL preferred
- Experience in vendor management
- Excellent communication skills (English and Chinese) to deal with internal business users at senior level
- Good spoken and written in both Chinese (essentially Cantonese) and English
- Dynamic, independent, responsible and with good business sense
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
