Responsible for developing, implementing sustainability initiatives across the organisation

Client Details

We are partnering with local developer in Hong Kong. Currently, they are seeking for a highly motivated and experienced Sustainability Officer with a focus on the corporate sector to join the team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing sustainability initiatives across the organisation. You will work closely with department heads, employees, and external partners to ensure that our sustainability goals are achieved and that we remain a leader in sustainable business practices.

Description

• Develop, implement, and oversee sustainability initiatives across the organisation.
• Conduct sustainability assessments and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Develop and implement sustainability policies and procedures with department head
• Build and maintain strong relationships with department heads, employees, and external partners.
• Report on sustainability performance and make adjustments as necessary to achieve sustainability goals.
• Conduct sustainability training and education programs for employees.
• Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to promote the sustainability initiatives.

Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or related field.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in sustainability/ Environmental sector
• knowledge of sustainability practices and initiatives.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of corporate sustainability reporting frameworks and standards.
• Good Command in English & Chinese
