Client Details

We are partnering with local developer in Hong Kong. Currently, they are seeking for Senior Quantity Surveyor with a background in Residential Projects to join the team. Candidate with Consultancy Background is preferred, solid experience in new build residential project. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the cost management process, including estimating, budgeting, and cost control. You will work closely with project managers, contractors and Consultancy to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Description

• Manage all aspects of the cost management process, including estimating, budgeting, and cost control.
• Prepare cost analysis reports and provide recommendations to project managers, contractors, and consultants.
• Review and analyse project contracts and ensure that all contractual obligations are met.
• Monitor project budgets and make adjustments as necessary to ensure that projects are completed within budgetary constraints
• Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure that work is being performed in accordance with project specifications and quality standards.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with project managers, contractors, and clients.
• Ad-hoc tasks assigned by senior manager

Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in quantity surveying with a focus on residential projects.
• Strong knowledge of cost management processes, including estimating, budgeting, and cost control.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Professional Membership with HKIS/RICS will be an advantaged (NOT A MUST)
• Good Command in English & Chinese
