Duties: (a) To assist the Shelter Co-ordinator in managing the shelter to provide substitute care for service users in a stable and safe living environment. (b) Assist in the supervision and monitoring of daily activities and routines of the service users under care. (c) To help promote a stimulating, caring and culturally appropriate environment for the service users under care.

Requirements of Post: (a) Completed tertiary education level or above. (b) Relevant education qualification and/or training in early childhood education, child care education, etc. are a distinct advantage. (c) Solid work experience in managing child care service/shelter or related service setting. (d) Crisis management and good supervisory skills. (e) Possess good knowledge in shelter service. (f) Organized, responsible, initiative, sound judgment and creativity. (g) Able to work under work pressure. (h) Good communication and interpersonal skills. (i) Ability to work well with service users and be patient with them. (j) Willing to work in shift duty, weekend and holiday shifts. Other requirements of Post (C): Good leadership skills.
