We are looking for aspiring and suitably qualified individuals to join our Capital Works Business Unit (CWBU), where we work with our stakeholders to create sustainable transport solutions for the community, and we care for our staff and provide a great place to work.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain detailed design and construction programmes as well as draft tender documentation for new railway projects
• Review tender submissions and contractor’s programmes
• Monitor progress against programme and advise on recovery actions
• Prepare regular progress reports for projects and develop programme improvement measures to ensure timely project completion 
• Perform forensic delay assessment and quantitative schedule risk analysis
• Implement digital processes and systems for contemporaneous time management and earned value management

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
• A minimum of 6 years’ relevant experience in major construction projects
• Construction experience in railway projects or other major infrastructure projects is an advantage
• Fully conversant with programming techniques with hands-on experience in the application of programming software, preferably Primavera P6
• Possession of Corporate Membership of a recognised professional institution and qualification with relevant experience in NEC Project Management are preferred

Remarks

• Appointment will be made on two-year renewable contract terms
