As a Senior Product Manager, your team is responsible for driving the acquisition, retention, and monetization of our users across the entire SCMP product portfolio.
Job Responsibilities:
Research, analyze, and understand the data and behaviors about our new and existing users
Prioritize and test a roadmap of both product- and non-product- related experiments to drive acquisition, retention, and monetization
Create and refine scalable patterns and models for growth
Build the platform and tools necessary to effectively and efficiently run data-driven experiments
Lead a team of engineers and designers, in collaboration with journalists, marketers, data scientists, and stakeholders, with an emphasis on impact and speed of execution
Fulfills managerial roles such as assigning duties, hiring new talent, ongoing coaching employees and evaluating their performance.
Job Requirements:
Degree holder preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Statistics, or other quantitative field.
At least 8 years of experience growing online digital product user bases at large scale, preferably in B2C environment.
High analytical and detail-oriented capabilities to collaboratively generate hypotheses and ideas to experiment
Self-motivated, rigorous, and hungry critical thinker and problem solver that can roll up their sleeves when necessary
Strong leadership experience and intuition, with the ability to inspire a team and instill a growth mindset
Technical enough to garner the respect of engineers and data scientists
Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
Domain expertise in the media industry a plus
Candidate with less experience will be considered for Product Manager
Work location will be at our Hong Kong (Causeway Bay) office.
