The applicant must possess

1. a recognised degree;
2. a minimum of 5 years’ post-qualification working experience in public organisations or construction industry preferred;
3. a high level of integrity and a good sense of responsibility;
4. good communication and interpersonal skills with experiences to lead a team;
5. proficiency in Microsoft application software (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.); Chinese Word Processing is a must; and
6. excellent command of both written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin.

(Applicants who do not possess the required qualifications and / or experience may be considered for other positions within the organisation.)

Duties include

1. to provide secretarial support to board and committees including bilingual papers, minutes and other proposals;
2. to vet applications of the Technically Competent Persons Registration Scheme and Registered Specialist Trade Contractors Scheme;
3. to manage projects such as Specialist Trade Good Practice Manuals, Medical Examination Scheme;
4. to be proficient to prepare powerpoint presentation and operate MS Excel, Power BI etc for management report;
5. to provide support in CIC Service Centres and construction site outreach where needs arise;
6. to organise publicity activities for stakeholders of the construction industry; and
7. to carry out any other duties as assigned from time to time by the Executive Director.
