Description

We are seeking a Senior Manager, Product Management to join a leading multinational chemical company. This role is integral to the company's upstream chemical product management efforts, driving the development and execution of product strategies that align with our business objectives and market demands.

Reporting directly to the Head of one of the key business units, the Senior Manager will be responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of a leading product category, throughout the its lifecycle from research & development to commercialization and end-of-life management.

In this role, you will work independently while collaborating with product management colleagues from different business units. You will also work closely with R&D, engineering, manufacturing, and sales teams across Asia Pacific to ensure our product portfolio meets the highest standards of innovation, quality, and performance.

Your will use your expertise in upstream chemical product management to identify market opportunities and guide the development process which response to customer needs. You will also conduct market analysis and benchmarking to inform product, pricing, and positioning strategies.

In addition to the regular product management responsibilities, you will be assigned to lead or co-lead the company's various sustainability initiatives, such as providing product development concepts and implementation plans for alternative bio-based products throughout Asia.

Profile

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of experience in product management within manufacturing and production, preferably in the chemical industry.

Track record in upstream product management is a key success factor. You should possess exceptional analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate complex technical information into compelling business cases. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills are essential, along with a deep understanding of market dynamics and customer needs within the chemical industry.

A Bachelor's degree in Business, Chemistry, or a related field is required. Profiency in English is required.
