Job Description

• Responsible to provide assistance for manufacturing engineering projects such as production plants construction, production line/machinery/equipment installation/renovation, engineering process modification, etc. in mechanical, electrical & building services aspects.
• Assist to identify and negotiate with suppliers/contractors for the new project/machine/equipment in terms of price, installation, transportation, storage and maintenance plans based on company's requirements so as to optimize quality, cost efficiency and safety of the projects.
• Assist in preparing layout designs/drawing and parameter settings/enhancements of new/existing production line per projects' requirements at defined schedules.
• Participate in projects/maintenance plans of electrical and mechanical machinery installation, debugging or modification for production line.
• Conduct trial test to new machine/equipment after installation so as to ensure the consistency with process design, specifications and standards.
• Provide timely technical support to production staff in relation to machine/equipment repair and maintenance as schedule/on ad hoc basis.
• Coordinate various activities for projects with relevant interfaces in accordance with company's specific requirements.
• Assist in any other ad hoc projects as assigned by superiors.

Job Specification

• Higher Diploma or above in Mechanical Engineering and related disciplines.
• 1-2 years mechanical or electronic engineering experience in manufacturing environment or engineering related industries.
• Familiar with MS applications and Auto CAD, experienced in using PLC program is preferred.
• Good communication, negotiation, presentation and project management skills.
• Good command in both spoken and written English, Mandarin and Chinese.
• Well-organized, detail-oriented, resourceful and able to work under pressure. Have interest and passion in the abovesaid duties.
• Occasional business trip is required when necessary.
