Responsibilities:

• Research and develop the new platform according to market/customer requirement
• Follow up new projects to work with firmware team on charger design
• To work out the design direction/plan, guides engineer to finish project tasks effectively
• Manage project schedule to ensure project deliverable
• Complete the relevant technical documents in different stage of the project development
• Debug, test and verification on sample and fixture
• Problems follow up in prototype, EB, pilot run and mass production
• Improve existing model
• Do failure analysis to support engineering quality team
• Do test/evaluation for elec. components
• Provide technical support to relevant departments
• Provide technical support and instruction to PCBA/charger manufacturers regarding manufacturability, device programming, electronics subassembly level testing, product level testing
• 3 days travel to Dongguan factory per week or able to station in Dongguan

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Electronic Engineering or related disciplines
• At least 5 years working experience in the development of switching power
• 3 years working experience in Li-ion battery charger or pack design
• Experience in power tools industry is an advantage
• With strong capability in electronic circuit design & analyze
• Familiar with the operation of ERP system
• Knowledgeable in schematic and PCB layout by relevant software
• Good written, read and spoken English
• Good communication, coordination and interpersonal skills
• Conversant in PC and common software applications
