We are currently recruiting:

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and design management in Engineering Vehicle projects including asset replacement and modification of Engineering Vehicles as well as other innovation projects
• Monitor and maintain performance targets of new trains procured under the mega projects  
• Lead the overall system assurance development in Engineering Vehicle procurement projects and work with the contractors and all stakeholders to achieve the required performance targets
• Conduct feasibility study, tests & trials, proof-of-concept projects and innovation projects with an aim for uplifting the performance of Engineering Vehicles and/or interfacing systems
• Manage and co-ordinate the Fit-to-Run / Fit-to-Test process of all new Engineering Vehicle
• Participate in assigned consultancy work and peer review work for MTR subsidiaries and other parties

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical / Electrical  or a related discipline
• A minimum of 8 years’ post-qualification experience, preferably gained in a railway environment, of which 2 years should be at senior supervisory level
• Possession of Corporate Membership of a recognised professional institution is preferred
• Solid design or maintenance experience in rolling stock is an advantage
• Be self-motivated and resourceful with strong communication, interpersonal, analytical and decision-making skills

• Occasional business travel is required
