We are looking for aspiring and suitably qualified individuals to join our Capital Works Business Unit (CWBU), where we work with our stakeholders to create sustainable transport solutions for the community, and we care for our staff and provide a great place to work.

Responsibilities

• Manage the improvement works, including replacement, upgrade and modification of the high voltage / low voltage systems as well as associated building services and builder's works
• Manage a number of projects from planning, feasibility studies, design review, site supervision, contract administration to project delivery to ensure that all works are carried out safely, on time, within budget and in compliance with statutory requirements and specifications
• Liaise with various stakeholders to facilitate the smooth running of construction contracts through to commissioning and handover
• Lead a team of construction engineers and inspectors to supervise and manage the construction works of the assigned contracts

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
• A minimum of 6 years' experience in power system / E&M construction / building improvement works
• Experience in the application of Project Management System for budget and assets management control is preferred
• Experience in operating railway projects and knowledge of Railway Safety Rules and statutory submissions, such as Buildings Department, Safety and Security Coordinating Committee and Station and Transport Integration Committee are advantages
• Possession of Corporate Membership of a recognised professional institution is preferred

Remarks

• Appointment will be made on two-year renewable contract terms
