DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Business Function

 

Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.

 

 

 

Responsibilities

* Lead team of Consumer Banking Individual Account and E-Channel Service to make sure to provide quality and efficient support to Consumer Banking, Institutional Banking and Private Banking on account opening, customer information and account record maintenance

* Assist the team to the adherence to the regulatory requirements, especially for customer acceptance requirements; bank policies; operational procedures; performance standard and service turnaround time

* Assist the team to align the operations towards the bank’s strategic goal.

* Provide support to daily transactions and monitor staff performance to ensure adherence to SLA agreed with BUs in terms of standard service turnaround time, accuracy and correctness and comply to bank policies and regulatory requirements especially for customer acceptance requirements

* Handle internal/ external customer compliant tactfully and timely and ensure responsive problem solving for enquiries from branches and other units/ parties within benchmark

* Provide periodic operational reports and management reports as required

* Perform checking and reconcilement of general ledgers and other system records on timely basis 

* Provide suggestions to the supervisor on ways to improve the efficiency and quality of services 

* Assist team leader to streamline the workflow and update the operation manual 

* Assist team leader to prepare the BCP Plan and conduct drill test to ensure operations will not be interrupted due to disaster

 

 

 

Requirement

* Degree holder

* Minimum 5 years experience in consumer banking operations

* Knowledge of consumer banking practices & procedures

* Ability to guide individual towards achieving the team’s goals

* Good interpersonal and communication skills

* Good sense of risk awareness

* Able to perform teamwork & collaborate with subordinates

* Hard working and willing to accept/ provide suggestions and comments

* Ownership of results and commitment to personal goals

* Knowledge of consumer banking operations

* Proficiency in MS Office 

* Able to type Chinese characters
