Company Overview
Duties:
- To plan and maintain an effective schedule of meetings and work for Educational Services Director, in coordination with schools and all relevant parties;
- To organize and coordinate meetings of Incorporated Management Committee, prepare agendas, take minutes and compile all necessary documents and reports for the meetings of Education Advisory Committee and Heads Meetings;
- To coordinate with schools in management of their operational matters such as relevant statistics and reports for management’s information, applications for award schemes and joint-school programmes, etc.;
- To provide advice to schools regarding the procedures and guidelines of operational matters and other general enquiries;
- To review the effectiveness of the existing work procedures and guidelines and to suggest to Educational Services Director on ways of enhancements;
- To set up and maintain an effective filing system, including the softcopies for files, records, reports and correspondences relating to schools;
- To provide general secretarial duties, including handling incoming mails and documents, typing, answering phone calls, inventory check and other housekeeping duties in accordance with specific instructions and standard procedure;
- To perform other duties as assigned by the Educational Services Director.
Requirements:
- Understanding of the Christian faith, values and ethos of The Salvation Army
- Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or other related disciplines
- Formal Secretarial Training
- Min 5 years working experience including 2 years in secretarial and administrative responsibilities, preferably in an education sector
- Good organization and analytical ability
- Possess sound skills of translation from English to Chinese and vice versa
- Good communication skills in both English and Chinese (Putonghua & Cantonese)
- Hands-on PC operation in both English & Chinese
