The Department

With around 90 off-course betting branches and 2 racecourses, Retail and Telebet Services Department is committed to provide quality and efficient service to our customers throughout Hong Kong.

The Gift at Races aims to be the premier retail in its field targeting both local and international Hong Kong racing fans.

The job holder reports to Assistant Sales & Operations Manager and is responsible for supporting daily sales activities at the GAR stores.

You will:

• Ensures a high level of customer service and maximizes sales opportunities by having a commercial focus.
• Monitors and ensures the effectiveness of sales procedure and retails claim operations. Leading the part-time sales to achieve daily sales target and maintain the highest standard of customer service.
• Supports shop operations at different POS e.g. Racecourse Shops, Moon Koon Shop and Nathan Road Shop.
• Implements promotion campaigns and execution of marketing activities in shops.
• Conduct regular stock count and inventory adjustment in POS system
• Handles customer enquiries and complaints.
• Ensures compliance with Responsible Gambling Policy and all stipulated legal requirements pertaining to wagering, thereby protecting the integrity of the Club’s businesses.
• Undertakes other duties as assigned by supervisors.

You should have:

• Higher Diploma or above.
• Working experience in retail sales and cashier management.
• Strong interpersonal and organisational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure with high accuracy.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills in both English and Chinese (Mandarin a plus).
• Outgoing, pleasant, and hardworking personality.
• Work on shift including weekends & public holidays.
