Contract No. HY/2023/18 - Walkway Covers connecting to Grantham Hospital at Wong Chuk Hang and Haven of Hope Hospital at Tseung Kwan O
Meinhardt Infrastructure & Environment Ltd. has been appointed by the Highways Department as the Consultant for the above Contract. The works mainly comprises (a) construction of a walkway cover along the pedestrian walkway of Wong Chuk Hang Road with an approximate length of 250 metres connecting MTR Ocean Park Station and the existing footbridge no. HF42 which leads to Grantham Hospital; (b) construction of a walkway cover of an approximate length of 80 metres along the footpath of Ling Hong Road near the Haven of Hope Hospital; and (c) associated civil works, geotechnical works, electrical and mechanical works, roads and drainage works, lighting works, landscaping works and etc. We now invite applications for the following Resident Site Staff positions:

邁進基建環保工程顧問有限公司獲路政署委任為上述項目的工程顧問。工程主要包括 (a) 於黃竹坑道的行人路加建一段約250米長的行人通道上蓋，以連接港鐵海洋公園站及通往葛量洪醫院現有的行人天橋（結構編號：HF42）; (b) 於靈康路近靈實醫院的行人通道上加建約80米長的上蓋以連接靈實醫院及附近巴士站; 以及(c) 相關的土木工程、土力工程、機電工程、道路及渠務工程、照明工程及園林美化工程等。現就上述工程合約招聘下列駐地盤工程人員。

RESIDENT WORKS SUPERVISOR I 駐地盤一級監工 (Ref: 91853/6/RWSI)

Candidates should have (a)(i) a Certificate from CIC/HKIC/IVE/TI/TC/Poly or equivalent in an appropriate discipline; OR (a)(ii) completed a recognized technician apprenticeship in an appropriate discipline; OR (a)(iii) completed a recognized craft apprenticeship with 2 years’ experience as a skilled worker in appropriate discipline; OR (a)(iv) 5 years’ experience as a skilled worker in appropriate discipline;
AND
(b)(i) at least 3 years’ relevant post-academic qualification experience; OR (b)(ii) at least 3 years’ relevant experience as Resident Works Supervisor II or equivalent in public works projects or those listed in Section 4.5.2 of the RSS Management Handbook.

(二)(甲) 具有最少三年於取得以上學歷或資格後之相關工作經驗; 或 (二)(乙) 具有最少三年在公共工程項目或駐工地人員管理手冊中4.5.2章節列出的認可工程項目中擔任駐地盤二級監工職位或同等職位的相關工作經驗。

The job requirements of the above positions should be referred to the minimum qualification required and minimum experience listed in Appendix 7.4 of the “Management Handbook for Direct Employment of Resident Site Staff by Consultants for Public Works Projects” issued by Development Bureau (Works Branch).

The possession of a Construction Industry Safety Training Certificate or equivalent certification is required.

The incumbent may be required to work irregular hours, overtime and shifts (including Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays) and to carry out supervision duties in Mainland China or overseas, if necessary.
