Contract No. IS/2022/01 - Improvement Works at Tai O - Phase 2, Stage 2
Meinhardt Infrastructure & Environment Ltd. has been appointed by the Civil Engineering Development Department as the Consultant for the above Contract. Contract No. IS/2022/01 mainly includes the construction of a footbridge at Yim Tin with a clear width of about 3 metres (m) and total length of about 140 m, construction of a footbridge at Po Chue Tam with a clear width of about 3 m and total length of about 120 m, construction of an amphitheatre-cum-open space and a public car park at Yim Tin, upgrading works at the open area in front of Yeung Hau Temple, and implementation of ancillary works, including associated road, drainage, water mains, sewerage, utilities, landscaping and public lighting works, etc. The works are commenced in March 2023 and for scheduled for completion in 2025. We now invite applications for the following Resident Site Staff positions:

邁進基建環保工程顧問有限公司獲土木工程拓展署委任為上述項目的工程顧問。合約編號IS/2022/01的主要工程項目是在在鹽田興建一條總長約140米、淨闊約3米的行人橋；在寶珠潭興建一條總長約120米、淨闊約3米的行人橋；在鹽田興建一個露天劇場暨休憩用地和公眾停車場；在楊侯古廟前方空地進行美化工程；以及進行附屬工程，包括相關的道路、渠務、水管、污水渠、公用設施、園境美化和公共照明等工程。該工程於2023年3月展開，並預計於2025年完成。現就上述工程合約招聘下列駐地盤工程人員。
Candidates should have (a)(i) a Certificate from the Construction Industry Council in Hong Kong/ Hong Kong Institute of Construction/ Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education/ Technical Institute/ Technical College/ Hong Kong Polytechnic University/ Polytechnic or equivalent in an appropriate discipline; OR (a)(ii) completed a recognized technician apprenticeship in an appropriate discipline; OR (a)(iii) completed a recognized craft apprenticeship with 2 years’ experience as a skilled worker in appropriate discipline; OR (a)(iv) 5 years’ experience as a skilled worker in appropriate discipline;
AND
(b)(i) at least 3 years’ relevant post- qualification experience; OR (b)(ii) at least 3 years’ relevant experience as Resident Works Supervisor II or equivalent in public works projects or those listed in Section 4.5.2 of the RSS Management Handbook.

及
(二)(甲)具有最少三年於取得以上資格後之相關工作經驗; 或 (二)(乙) 具有最少三年在公共工程項目或駐工地人員管理手冊中4.5.2章節列出的認可工程項目中擔任駐地盤二級監工職位或同等職位的相關工作經驗。
The job requirements of the above positions should be referred to the minimum qualification required and minimum experience listed in Appendix 7.4 of the “Management Handbook for Direct Employment of Resident Site Staff by Consultants for Public Works Projects” issued by Development Bureau (Works Branch).
The possession of a Construction Industry Safety Training Certificate or equivalent certification is required.
The incumbents will be required to work irregular hours, overtime and shifts (including Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays) and to carry out supervision duties in Mainland China or overseas, if necessary.
