Candidates should have:
(a) a Diploma or Higher Certificate from CIC/HKIC/IVE/TI/TC/Poly or equivalent in an appropriate discipline; and
(b) at least 8 years’ relevant post-qualification experience; or
(c) at least 5 years’ relevant experience as Resident Assistant Inspector of Works or equivalent in public works projects or recognized projects listed in Section 4.5.2 of the RSS Management Handbook.

The possession of Level 2 or above in Chinese Language and English Language in Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination / Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination, or equivalent is required.
The possession of a Construction Industry Safety Training Certificate or equivalent certification is required for the above position.
The incumbents of the position will be required to work irregular hours, overtime and shifts (including Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays) and to carry out supervision duties in Mainland China or overseas if necessary.
