Contract No. CC/2022/05/094 Main Works Contract for Southern Landing Facility at West Kowloon Cultural District

AtkinsRéalis invites applications for the following Resident Site Staff positions. The proposed works mainly comprise construction of Southern Landing Facility at West Kowloon Cultural
District which includes:

1) modification of existing sloping seawall, construction of pier deck structures and associated foundation;
2) construction of ancillary facilities including operational control room and store room, construction of canopy;
3) installation of mechanical platform, mechanical gangway and associated lifting system; and
4) installation of E&M system.

The works contracts in New Engineering Contract (NEC) form was commenced in 2022 for completion in 2025.

1. 現有海堤改建工程和碼頭結構及相關地基的建設；
2. 附屬設施包括操作控制室，儲物室以及上蓋的建造；
3. 機械平台，機械斜台以及相關升降系統的建造安裝；及
4. 機電系統的安裝

工程合約將以「新工程合約」形式進行，已於2022展開，並於2025完成。

Candidates should have:

a) Diploma or Higher Certificate from Construction Industry Council in Hong Kong / Hong Kong Institute of Construction / Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education / Technical Institute / Technical College / Polytechnic University / polytechnic or equivalent in an appropriate discipline, and
bi) Minimum 3 years’ of relevant post qualification experience; or
bii) Minimum 5 years’ of relevant experience inclusive of 1 year’ of relevant experience as Resident Works Supervisor or equivalent in appropriate discipline in public works projects or those listed in Section 4.5.2 of the RSS Management Handbook; or
biii) 3 years’ of relevant experience inclusive of 1 year’ of relevant experience as Resident Works Supervisor I or equivalent in appropriate discipline in public works projects or those listed in Section 4.5.2 of the RSS Management Handbook; or

a) 持有建造業議會/香港建造學院/香港專業教育學院/工業學院/科技學院/香港理工大學/理工學院頒發的文憑或高級證書，或具備同等學歷；及
bi) 取得該等資格後具有三年或以上之相關工作經驗；或
bii) 具有五年或以上之相關工作經驗（其中一年須在政府或於顧問公司直接聘用駐工地人員的管理手冊章節4.5.2中列出的機構中擔任相關界別的駐地盤監工職位或同等）；或
biii) 具有三年或以上之相關工作經驗（其中一年須在政府或於顧問公司直接聘用駐工地人員的管理手冊章節4.5.2中列出的機構中擔任相關界別的駐地盤一級監工職位或同等）

Remarks:

The job requirement of the above positions should be referred to the minimum qualification and minimum experience listed in Appendix 7.4 of the RSS Management Handbook.

The possession of a Construction Industry Safety Training Certificate or equivalent certification is required for the above positions. The possession of a Certified Worker Certificate (Confined Space) is an additional prerequisite for positions of RIOW and RAIOW.

For all technical and clerical ranks (except RWSI and RWSII), the language proficiency requirements of Level 2 or above in Chinese Language and English Language in HKDSEE / HKCEE or equivalent shall be met.

For the purpose of determination on whether to meet the language proficiency requirements for the technical and clerical ranks only, Grade C and Grade E in Chinese Language and English Language (Syllabus B) in the HKCEE before 2007 are accepted administratively as comparable to Level 3 and Level 2 respectively in Chinese Language and English Language in the 2007 HKCEE and henceforth.

For the purpose of determination on whether to meet the minimum academic qualification required for the relevant clerical ranks only, “Attained” in Applied Learning subjects (subject to a maximum two Applied Learning subjects), and Grade E in Other Language subjects in the HKDSEE are accepted as equivalent to Level 2 in the New Senior Secondary subjects in the HKDSEE.

Appointment will be made on contract term in accordance with the prevailing Government’s conditions and terms applicable for Resident Site Staff. The incumbents will be required to work irregular hours, overtime and shifts (including Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays) and to carry out supervision duties in Mainland China or overseas if necessary.

所有技術和文書職級（駐地盤一級監工及駐地盤二級監工除外）的語文能力需在香港中學文憑考試 / 香港中學會考英國語文科及中國語文科考獲2級或以上成績，或同等學歷。

為決定技術和文書職級的申請人是否達到語文能力要求，2007年前香港中學會考的中國語文科及英國語文科（課程乙）分別考獲C級及E級成績，將獲接受相當於2007年及以後香港中學會考中國語文科及英國語文科考獲3級及2級成績。

為決定技術和文書職級的申請人是否達到最低學歷要求，香港中學文憑考試應用學習科目「達標」（可最多合共兩科應用學習科目），及在其他語文科考獲E級或以上成績，將獲接受相當於香港中學文憑考試新高中科目考獲2級成績。

聘用條款將按獲聘時政府駐工地員工相關的條款及條件而定。如有需要，任職者可能需要不定時、超時和輪班 (包括星期六、日和公眾假期) 工作，並可能需要到中國內地或海外進行監督工作。
