We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position in the School of Science and Technology:

Research Assistant (R7031) (S&T) (Ref: 23001SO)

Major Duties and Responsibilities

The appointee will mainly assist the research team for a project “A Study of Touchless Finger Platform for Smart Building Management” (Project: R7031).  He / She will be responsible mainly for the following: 

• Designing, developing and maintaining IoT Building Management Systems;
• Conducting IoT analysis on user performance;
• Working with the Principal Investigator to prepare report writing; and
• Conducting other ad-hoc research activities as instructed by the Principal Investigator.

Candidates

Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence:

• A Bachelor's degree or above in Quality Management, Business Administration or a related discipline;
• Familiar with Building Management System (BMS), web and/or mobile app development, design and programming;
• Knowledge of programming skills, e.g., JavaScript, C#;
• Working experience with technical support; and
• Detail-oriented, reliable, hardworking, responsible, and able to meet deadlines and work independently.
