We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position in the School of Science and Technology: 

Research Assistant II (R6416/R6490/R7044) (S&T) (ID: 23001FS)

Major Duties and Responsibilities 

The appointee(s) shall mainly assist the research team in one of the following research projects:  "An Investigation of Reliability-Aware Wireless Edge Caching Networks (WECNs) with Bundle Recommendation" (UGC/FDS16/E09/21) (R6416); "A Study of Distributed Service-aware Wireless Cellular Networks (DS-WCNs): From User Demand Modeling to Performance Optimization" (UGC/FDS16/E02/22) (R6490) ; and "Intelligent Data-driven Wireless Networks" (CP/2022/2.1) (R7044). The appointee will be responsible mainly for the following:

• Performing problem analysis;
• Assisting in report writing and presentation of the results;
• Carrying out other research activities as instructed by the investigators; and
• Providing effective research and teaching-related assistance.

Candidates 
Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence:

• A Bachelor's, preferably a Master's degree in Electronic Engineering, Communication Engineering, Computer Science or a related discipline;
• Candidates who have research experience in intelligent wireless communications, resource management, wireless edge caching, and recommendation systems are preferred; and 
• Candidates with proficient English speaking and writing abilities are preferred.
