Responsibilities:

• Assisting the Centre-in-charge in achieving the agreed outputs and outcomes consistent with the project plans and budgets
• Assisting in preparing written reports and financial records as required
• Assisting in preparing publicity materials such as leaflets, posters, newsletters and banners and uploading updated news and events onto Girl Guides websites / social media platforms
• Liaising with external parties and/or internal departments as well as coordinating with volunteers for coordinating, organizing, and implementing programmes and activities for the public ranging from children to elderly
• Collecting and collating feedbacks and evaluation from volunteers, members and participants
• Coordinating and setting up rooms with the necessary equipment, chairs and tables for conducting programmes and activities
• Preparing materials and documentations for programmes and activities
• Monitoring and recording petty cash payments
• Answering enquiries and handling reception and clerical duties as required
• Keeping records and maintaining the filing system in good order
• Handling ad hoc assignments and duties if necessary
• 5-day work per week with roster arrangements from Mondays to Sundays
• Willing to work on evenings, public holidays and outdoor work if required
• Centre location: Tung Chung

Qualifications:

• Preferably Degree Holder
• 5 passes in HKCEE including Chinese Language, English Language and Mathematics or HKDSEE with Level 3 in Chinese Language, English Language and Mathematics
• 3 year’s relevant experience preferably in planning and organizing activities in social welfare organizations / uniformed groups / NGOs
• Pleasant, able to communicate with all levels, work independently and under pressure
• Good command of both written and spoken English, Chinese & preferably Putonghua
• Proficient in MS Office applications & Chinese word processing
• Possessing Guiding experience is an advantage
