Job Duties:

• Organise and market in-company training, study missions and public training on technology and manufacturing systems advancement for HK and the Mainland enterprises
• Organise conferences, seminars, exhibitions, technology/ business networking events for new technology dissemination, industry promotion and diversification
• Collect information and formulate ideas for industry upgrading, promotion and diversification, assist to prepare government project proposals for technological and business advancement of industries
• Assist in coordination of industry study or survey, analysis of findings and editing of technological/ business reports and publications
• Compile promotional materials for consultancy services, government projects and events
• Liaise with local, overseas and Mainland China trade associations, institutions and potential clients for collaboration, support and participation in activities
• Travel to Mainland China occasionally for project implementation
• Support ad hoc projects and assignments when required

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Manufacturing Engineering/Product Engineering/ Marketing/ Translation or equivalent
• 3 years or above experience in training organization, including conference, study mission, business/technological networking
• Experience of collaboration with counterparts in manufacturing industry and trade associations an advantage
• Skills in graphic design/computer aided design an added advantage
• Good presentation, communication and interpersonal skills
• Mature, self-motivated, confident and able to work under pressure
• Good command of both spoken and written English, Cantonese and Putonghua, proficient in other languages, such as German or Japanese a plus

The successful candidates will be employed on a fixed-term contract basis, which is renewable subject to appointee’s performance and the Council’s development needs.
