Monthly Salary Range: HK$36,775 - HK$61,080

Duties:    The appointee will be responsible for development and planning of new Architectural Studies programmes, promotion, monitoring and review of existing programmes, preparation of programme materials and administrative duties, programme curriculum and financial management.

The scope of duties includes planning, developing, promoting and managing part-time award-bearing and non-award bearing programmes in Architectural Studies, with a particular focus on formulating and implementing promotional strategies, preparation and distribution of course materials, course delivery, co-ordination and liaison with students, lecturers and professional bodies, class visits, preparation of annual budget and monitoring reports.

Requirements:  Candidates should have a Master’s degree in Architecture or related disciplines. At least 3 years relevant working experience in the industry and membership of the Hong Kong Institute of Architects (HKIA) or equivalent overseas institution is highly desirable. Good communication and interpersonal skills, an ability to work independently and as a contributing member of a team to manage resources, and excellent command of written and spoken English are required. Experience in teaching and programme management would be an advantage but is not required.

Terms of Appointment: Salary placement will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.  The contract will normally be for 2 years with the possibility of renewal subject to review.  A contract-end gratuity (taxable) will be payable upon satisfactory completion of the contract.  Medical and dental benefits, annual leave and the use of library facilities will be provided where applicable.  The School also provides staff development opportunities.
