The appointee will assist the Head of Department, or his designees, in monitoring all aspects of undergraduate program operations including student advising, marketing, student recruitment and admission and outreaching activities. Responsibilities include liaising with faculty members and students for undergraduate program administration, and maintaining effective relationship with media and industrial/academic partners to promote marketing and student development efforts.
Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree in business administration with at least 5 years of work experience of which at least 2 years are in the area of student development in tertiary institutions; and experience in liaison with external parties and dealing with senior executives. The appointee should be outgoing, self-motivated and able to work well independently and as a team member. He/She should possess excellent communication and organizational skills, and good language skills (English, Cantonese and Putonghua). The appointee may be required to work outside normal office hours, travel overseas and perform other duties as assigned. Candidates with less experience will be considered for the post of Program Assistant. (Duration: 2 years, renewable)
Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided. A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract.
