The Macau University of Science and Technology seeks applications for the posts of Program Coordinator of Food and Beverage Management (Ref: FHTM-PD001CP) and Program Coordinator of Hotel Management (Ref: FHTM-PD002CP). The successful candidate(s) will be in consultation with the Dean of Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management, to provide teaching responsibilities, strategic direction and operate student affairs curriculum in alignment with Macau University of Science and Technology’s mission and values. The Program Coordinator(s) will formulate and implement a strategy that will enhance reputation of the program and that can be measured by a series of performance metrics.

Duties

1. Organize, administer and conduct undergraduate programmatic operations
2. Coordinate semester course scheduling and staffing of undergraduate courses
3. Coordinate students practicum in the selected sites
4. Assist in development, implementation and evaluation of undergraduate programs, including public relations and utilization of resources
5. Promote undergraduate faculty development
   

Requirements for Program Coordinator of Food and Beverage Management

1. Bachelor's degree in a field related to the Bachelor of Food and Beverage Management with a Master's degree preferred or the equivalent in terms of industry experience
2. More than 2 year’s experience at the level of Instructor or above in instruction or formalized education process, preferably in a post-secondary or college institution
3. Experience in food and beverage operations, for instance restaurant services and restaurant management;
4. Good command of spoken English & Cantonese / Mandarin is an advantage
   

Requirements for Program Coordinator of Hotel Management

1. Master’s degree in a field related to the Hotel Management with a doctoral degree preferred;
2. At least 3 years’ teaching experience at the level of Lecturer or above in higher education or college institution is preferable;
3. Experience in hotel management operations, for instance front desk, housekeeping and guest services;
4. Good command of spoken English & Cantonese / Mandarin is an advantage
