Applicants should have (i) a Master's degree in Audiology and a doctorate degree in medical science or related disciplines; (ii) a professional qualification recognized for registration as an audiologist in Hong Kong; (iii) solid clinical experience in audiology assessment and rehabilitation service with not less than four years’ full-time working experience as an audiologist; and (iv) proficiency in local languages. Audiologists in Accredited Register in Hong Kong are preferred.
Duties include (a) teaching medical undergraduate students and postgraduate students in related disciplines; (b) implementing and supporting audiology related projects, including supervision of student projects; (c) providing audiology services to patients; (d) contributing actively to academic and knowledge exchange, including provision of healthcare professional training and public education; and (e) assuming supervision/administrative responsibilities for the audiology team.
