JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• To work closely with team leader to plan, initiate and implement press plan with a yearly calendar. And preparing weekly press release with a sharp press angle/story to pitch to media in Hong Kong and China, online and offline to gain free media coverage for the company;
• To be proactive in exploring new mediums and channel for public relations while building and maintaining good press relationship, inclusive of KOLs, stylists and celebrities to gain free coverage, and work with team leader to broaden the network in Greater China, online and offline;
• To work closely with team leader and the content team on social media communication with special focus in WECHAT – to create intriguing and engaging stories; resulting in driving awareness of Harvey Nichols HK and driving traffic to stores. Also to engage KOLs and celebrities to do seeding-program through social media platform that help create brand and product awareness, and driving traffic to stores;
• To be responsible in organizing in-store or off-site events to create unique customer experience (inclusive of press and KOL) that further promote Harvey Nichols as an International Luxury retailer.

JOB REQUIREMENT:

• University graduate in Marketing , Media or Communication;
• At least 1 year solid experience in marketing or PR fields;
• Have experience in fashion and retail industry is a definite advantage;
• Professional and personal engagement in social media (Instagram, Facebook, Wechat, Weibo, Youtube, Forum etc);
• Proactive, self-motivated, attention to details and result oriented;
• Strong project, time management and communication skills;
• Comfortable working under tight deadlines and on multiple projects simultaneously;
• Good command in spoken and written English as well as Chinese (Mandarin);
• Candidate with less experience will be considered as PR Officer.
