Salary : $700 per assessment (an average of 2 hours is required for completing one assessment) (Contract Period: From January 2018 to July 2018)
Duties : To carry out classroom language assessments duties in the Language Proficiency Assessment for Teachers including (a) making class visit arrangements; (b) conducting class visits; (c) writing related assessment reports; and (d) attending related meetings and workshops, etc.
Entry Requirements: (a) A Hong Kong bachelor’s degree majoring in English, or equivalent; (b) A relevant certificate in education from a Hong Kong tertiary educational institution, or equivalent; and (c) After acquisition of (a) and (b), at least six years’ relevant classroom language assessment / school inspection / curriculum development / teaching experience (preferably as an English panel chairperson in a secondary school or having teaching experience in a tertiary institution).
Remarks: For general awareness, a locally-accredited Hong Kong bachelor’s degree is at Level 5 under the Hong Kong Qualifications Framework (HKQF). While there are other qualifications under HKQF Level 5, for the purpose of this recruitment exercise, only bachelor’s degree is acceptable.
