We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position in the School of Arts and Social Sciences: 

Part-time Teaching Assistant (2023 Autumn Term) (UG) (A&SS) (Ref: 23001C5)  

Major Duties and Responsibilities 

The appointee will be responsible mainly for the following: 

• To assist in, and where necessary, undertake course planning, development and delivery of the full-time face-to-face undergraduate programmes; 

• Conducting tutorials, marking assignments/examination scripts; and 

• Performing other related teaching and administrative duties.  

Candidates 

Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence:

• Candidates should possess a higher degree in Psychology or a related discipline; 

• Candidates should have teaching/professional experience; and 

• Relevant teaching experience at the tertiary level would be an advantage.  

SOCI A323F Social Policy and Social Administration 

• Candidates should possess a higher degree in Sociology, Social Policy Studies or a related discipline; 

• Candidates should have teaching/professional experience; and 

• Relevant teaching experience at the tertiary level would be an advantage.  

SOCI A329F Crime Control and Punishment in Society 

• Candidates should possess a higher degree in Criminology, Sociology or a related discipline; 

• Candidates should have teaching/professional experience; and 

• Relevant teaching experience at the tertiary level would be an advantage. 

TRAN A365CF傳播翻譯

Successful candidates will be required to work during daytime on campus for the period from September 2023 to January 2024 for a maximum of 17 hours per week. 

Terms and Conditions for Appointment 

Successful candidates will be appointed on a temporary part-time contract. Benefits will be provided in accordance with the statutory provisions.
