Part-time Lecturer [ENGL A222F] (2022 Spring Term) (Ref: 210027W)

Major Duties and Responsibilities

The appointee shall mainly be responsible for the following:

• course planning, development and delivery of the full-time face-to-face undergraduate programmes;
• conducting lectures and tutorials, writing lecture notes, designing and marking of assignments/examination scripts; and
• performing other related teaching and administrative duties.

Candidates

Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence:

Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Language Studies and Translation - ENGL A222F English Grammar and Usage

• a master's degree in English, Linguistics or a related discipline; and
• preference will be given to those with a relevant higher degree and teaching experience at tertiary level.

The appointees will be required to work during daytime on campus for the period from late January to June 2022 for a maximum of 17 hours per week. For further details, please contact Ms. Hung at 2768-5767.

Terms and Conditions for Appointment

Successful candidate will be appointed on a temporary part-time fixed term contract. Benefits will be provided in accordance with the statutory provisions.
