We are currently recruiting:
Responsibilities
- Facilitate project risk management workshops and compile project risk registers for Capital Works Business Unit to support identification of key risk areas and mitigation measures for efficient risk management
- Support preparation of system assurance programme plan and particular specifications for Capital & Revenue Works, review contractor system assurance submissions, and advise Project Managers on system assurance deliverables
- Facilitate HAZOP studies and compile hazard log to brainstorm and document potential safety and service risks arising from system design, its installation and implementation to encourage early identification of risks and mitigation measures
- Conduct safety and service risk assessments and reliability analysis for the Operating Railway arising from existing systems, or from implementation of new technology, procedures or improvement initiatives
- Conduct independent check on newly introduced / changed safety critical systems, or engineering changes for mitigating high risk hazards.
- Conduct value assessment of Capital & Revenue Works in accordance with the Value Assurance model and construct spreadsheet financial model to evaluate alternative asset replacement strategies to support decision making
- Support the operation of Independent Test Panel (ITP) for AFC software
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic Engineering or a related discipline
- A minimum of 5 years’ relevant design experience, preferably gained in a railway environment
- Self-motivated with good interpersonal and problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English
