The School of Science is looking for a self-motivated and committed individual to join the UG Recruitment and Admissions Team. Major duties include providing support in student recruitment and admissions events, giving admissions guidance to prospective students, arranging admissions interviews, producing multimedia content for promotion purposes, and undertaking any other duties as assigned. The appointee is expected to work with people from different cultural backgrounds and at different levels. Occasional work outside normal office hours may be required.
Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree with 1-2 years of relevant work experience in the education sector, a service-oriented mindset, an outgoing personality, and a strong sense of responsibility. The appointee is expected to be multi-task oriented, self-motivated, and have the ability to work in a team and independently. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills as well as a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua) are required. The ideal candidate should have good knowledge in IT and software applications (including Chinese word processing, Excel and PowerPoint). Experience in video editing would be an advantage. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a written test. (Duration: 2 years, renewable)
Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided. A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract.
