- Vendor factories : Shenzhen & Dongguan
- Main market : Europe & Asia Pacific
- We are looking for Merchandising Manager - with details as follows :
The Job :
- Report to the Merchandising Director
- Work independently for full merchandising duties
- Develop the fashion jewelry collections with focus in silver jewellery
- Sourcing finished products and components suppliers
- Monitor quality and manage suppliers to make sure supplies are in accordance with the requirements
- Visit factories and attending jewellery exhibitions & fairs
- Monitor the suppliers to follow the material specification, standards, testing and validation
- Develop suitable suppliers’ strategy and roadmap
- Negotiate allocation with Region / HQ to meet assortment and firm orders’ needs
- 5+ years experience in fashion jewelry development and purchasing inclusive of silver jewellery
- Additional experience in diamonds, pearls, stones is a plus
- Project management skills
- Good communications in Cantonese, English and Mandarin
- Occasional trip to China vendor factories; normally one trip per week to Shenzhen/Dongguan (same day return HK)
- 5 days work
- 13 months salary + performance bonus
- Annual leave : 14 days
