Based out of The Edge Learning Center’s headquarters in Hong Kong, the Academic Instructor reports to the Center Manager and the Head of Academics and is primarily responsible for ensuring that student receive exceptional service and training.

What you’ll be doing?

• Design and deliver curriculum including IB/AP/IGCSE/A-Levels, for students for group and one-on-one lessons on Mathematics / Physics / History/ English and/or Academic Writing
• Teaching Edge English, IELTS/TOEFL Tests courses and private tuition
• Conduct pre- and post- course assessments
• Assist in creating additional content such as but not limited to question bank, solution explanations, teacher's manual
• Edit, proofread, and revise existing or newly developed content
• Developing marketing materials and attending marketing events
• Other duties as directed by Head of Academics
  
  

Who are we looking for?

• Ideal candidates must possess a Bachelor or Master degree in Mathematics /
• Physics / English / History related
• Fluency in English
• Ability to present and explain complex physics and mathematical topics into easy
• to understand concepts
• Superior writing and analytical skills
• Good communication and presentation skills
• You will have an advantage if you are/ have
• Experience in teaching or test preparation
• A TEFL/TESOL/CELTA certification for English teaching
