The job holder’s responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young person’s for whom s/he is responsible, or with whom s/he comes into contact will be to adhere to and ensure compliance with the relevant Cognita Safeguarding; Child Protection Policy and Procedures at all times. If in the course of carrying out the duties of the role, the job holder identifies any instance that a child is suffering or likely to suffer significant harm either at school or at home, s/he must report any concerns to the School’s Child Protection Officer/Designated Safeguarding Lead or to the Head or indeed to the Regional CEO so that a referral can be made accordingly to the relevant third party services

Responsibilities:

• Maintain classroom organization and procedures including supervision of children as indicated by teacher;
• Provide administrative support to the classroom teacher in preparation of activities and maintenance of classroom stationery;
• Be actively involved in the children’s learning
• Ensure classroom is clean and tidy following activities and ensure all resources are appropriately organized;
• Supervise and interact with students in classroom, during outdoor play and in activities, ensuring students are at all times in a safe and nurturing learning environment
• Understand and work in accordance with the school policies and procedures 
• In conjunction with Classroom Teachers, ensure that hygiene standards are maintained, and appropriate supportive action is taken with student toileting concerns; 
• Be responsible for the movement of children throughout the school including before and after school

Requirement:

• Native speaker of spoken Mandarin 
• Relevant Experience with Young Pre-Schoolers & Toddlers
• Excellent interpersonal skill, energetic, and able to work independently
• Love children and passionate for teaching
• Start date: Immediate availability preferred
• Location: Repulse Bay, Happy Valley
