Responsibilities:

• To assist in managing the processes of joint venture (“JV”) development project tendering, formulating and reviewing as necessary the related strategy and program, co-ordination with other divisions for the preparation of expression of interest invitation brochure, development agreement, tender document and contract for execution

• To assist in providing inputs for amendments to the policies, procedures etc. related to JV development project tendering

• To review relevant documents, advise on tendering and contracting matters, act as Technical Review Panel member in assessing tender submissions, assist in seeking approval from the relevant authority, and draft and compile contract documents for execution for all divisions/departments on procurement of services, works and material supply contracts

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in the areas relating to commercial, legal, civil engineering and/or construction

• Relevant commercial, legal, construction, procurement or other equivalent professional qualifications

• Minimum 8 years’ post-qualification work experience, preferably in the commercial, legal or construction related field  

• Solid experience in drafting contracts

• Exposure to indirect procurement or revenue tendering is an added advantage

• Experience in handling the government and/or public sector procurement is a plus

(Candidates without the required academic qualification or work year will also be considered if his/her exposure or work experience is highly relevant.)
