Company Overview
Reporting to the Head, Development, M+, the calibre will play an integral role in developing and managing stakeholder relationships, focus on sponsorships and memberships, and play a key support for potential individual major donors.
You will be responsible for:
- developing and implementing cultivation strategies for key potential major donors to M+;
- leading on behalf of M+ in initiating new sponsors and donors to support the programmes and activities of M+ by both actively seeking, and supporting the development of new relationships;
- leading the creation of sponsorship proposals, membership products or any other relevant M+ materials required, and working with the Marketing and Customer Experience team to ensure brand alignment;
- developing the membership programmes and ensuring all members are communicated with professionally and regularly, and leading on the development and implementation of new membership drives;
- identifying, developing and initiating ideas and opportunities to grow the membership programmes after the completion of the pilot membership programme;
- managing any related budget items in relation to membership and development where necessary;
- managing all sponsorship and membership data, ensuring adherence to the necessary data privacy regulations;
- initiating and overseeing all events for sponsors, donors, members or general fundraising successfully, and ensuring that they are pitched appropriately, managed smoothly and on time and on budget; and
- developing a close working relationship with the WKCDA Development team to ensure clear communication and alignment between the two areas.
You should:
- possess a recognised university degree;
- have at least 5 years of relevant working experience, preferably in arts institutions or other not-for-profit organisations;
- have outstanding presentation, negotiation and relationship-building skills;
- demonstrate knowledge of fundraising/ sales and marketing software, and be familiar with working in a fundraising or sales environment; and
- have excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Chinese.
