Manager / Assistant Manager - Policy Owner Services

Job Requirements

  • University Graduate or above.
  • 6-8 years of experience in policy administration in life insurance.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
  • Independent, self-motivated, able to work under pressure and meet challenges.
  • Keen on building, managing, and developing relationships.
  • Strong execution skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Experience in leading and managing a team.
  • Knowledge of AML regulations and compliance requirements are preferred.
  • Familiarity with digital tools and process automation.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team to maintain high-quality service standards and achieve agreed service levels for policy administration.
  • Develop and implement policy change policies and procedures in adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, potential risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Manage and review the team’s performance regularly by providing guidance, training, and support.
  • Identify areas for digitization and automation, promote the use of digital tools within POS, and identify process re-engineering opportunities to improve operational efficiency.
  • Participate in new product development and AML-related tasks, supporting relevant system enhancements.
  • Maintain good relationships with distribution channels and conduct agency visits.
  • Oversee the resolution of complex policy owner inquiries and issues, ensuring timely and effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor compliance with internal policies and external regulations, ensuring all activities are conducted in accordance with legal and regulatory standards.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on team performance, service metrics, and project progress to senior management.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the POS department to enhance service quality and operational efficiency.
