The Hong Kong Investment Funds Association (“HKIFA") is a non-profit-making organization that represents the asset management industry in Hong Kong. We have two major roles - consultation and education. www.hkifa.org.hk
We are identifying a high-caliber candidate that will provide coordination, research and analytical support for committees and senior management.
Roles:
The Manager’s main responsibilities include but not limited to the following:
- Manage and coordinate meetings for committees and working groups; including attending meetings, preparing briefing papers and minutes/notes, co-ordinating and implementing the resolutions reached at meetings;
- Liaise with members to solicit and collate inputs so as to prepare reports/submissions;
- Prepare press releases and draft speeches; and
- Conducting researches relating to specific subjects, and prepare reports.
Attributes and qualities:
- University graduate - preferably in finance, economics or communications.
- Experience in the capital markets (preferably familiar with the regulatory environment of the asset management industry or the securities industry);
- Able to readily understand the regulatory and other key aspects that affect the development of the asset management industry;
- Able to interact effectively with regulators, member firms and other relevant stakeholder groups;
- Strong writing skills – both English and Chinese, and excellent PC skills;
- Proactive and resourceful,
- Have strong organizational skills and able to prioritize, and
- Able to work independently and under pressure.
