My client is seeking an M&A Associate 2-5 PQE to provide high quality legal advice on a variety of transactions in Hong Kong and across north Asia. This is a great chance to join an expanding team and work closely with a partner that is happy to develop associates within the team.

Description

As an M&A Associate 2-5 PQE, your main responsibilities will include:

• Providing legal advice on Mergers and Acquisitions transactions.
• Conducting legal research and analysis related to M&A transactions.
• Preparing, reviewing, and revising legal documents and contracts.
• Managing due diligence processes for M&A transactions.
• Advising on transaction structuring and implementation.
• Keeping up-to-date with legal developments in the M&A field.
• Communicating with clients and other stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of M&A transactions.
• Collaborating with a team of legal professionals within the company.

Profile

A successful M&A Associate 2-5 PQE should have:

• Hong Kong admitted
• Strong academics and drafting skills
• Experience in Mergers and Acquisitions transactions from a leading international firm. Candidates with SOE experience will be preferred.
• Strong legal research and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese - native Mandarin ideally,
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
