Responsibilities

The appointee will be required but not limited to:

perform teaching in General Education (GE) subjects in areas related to arts and humanities, civic education, and moral values.
contribute to the continuous development of the GE Curriculum that meets the College and School’s strategic initiatives and development;
take up responsibilities in academic administration, including the online learning platforms under the GE Curriculum;
participate in managing the academic affairs including programme development and validation exercises;
participate in promoting innovative teaching, collaborative and pedagogical research;
engage in research and scholarly activities in accordance to the workload requirements of the College; and
perform academic activities including academic advising, examination and assessment, student recruitment, committee works, whole person development activities of students.

Requirements

The appointee should have:

a Master degree in a relevant discipline with sufficient years of relevant experience in teaching in the tertiary education sector or possess a PhD degree / Professional Doctorate in a relevant discipline.

Salary will be competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Established by Tung Wah Group of Hospitals (“TWGHs”) in 2010, Tung Wah College (TWC) is a self-financing degree-granting institution registered under the Post Secondary Colleges Ordinance (Cap.320).
