Major Duties:
(a) To perform teaching duties, including supervision of students’ projects and fieldwork placement;
(b) To carry out duties in relation to student and academic administration;
(c) To develop programme curriculum and teaching, learning and assessment materials;
(d) To assist in validation and accreditation of programmes; and
(e) To participate in networking with industry / industrial attachments, departmental projects and functions, including but not limited to consultancy services, research studies, seminars and exhibitions.

Requirements:
(a) A recognised degree in Biomedical Science or related discipline, preferably with a relevant post-graduate qualification or professional qualification;
(b) At least 3 years’ full-time relevant teaching / industrial experience or network;
(c) Good communication, teaching and facilitation skills in both English and Chinese; and
(d) Preferably with qualification of registered Medical Laboratory Technologist under the Supplementary Medical Professions Ordinance and a valid practicing certificate issued by the Hong Kong Medical Laboratory Technologists Board.

Notes:
(1) The initial posting is in IVE (Sha Tin). The appointee may be posted to other work location(s) to suit the operational needs.
(2) Shortlisted candidates will be required to take a written assessment.
(3) The appointee(s) may be required to perform duties outside normal office hours and/or outside campus.
