We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position in the LiPACE:
Lecturer (AI & Digital Literacy) (LiPACE) (Ref.: 25000NP)
Major Duties and Responsibilities
The appointee will be responsible mainly for the following:
- Undertaking teaching and designing learning activities for courses in AI and digital literacy at postsecondary level;
- Undertaking development, management, operation and promotion of the academic programmes under purview with adherence to the School’s mechanism of quality assurance and registry procedures;
- Providing academic advising and counselling support to students;
- Performing administrative duties at the School and programme levels; and
- Performing any other duties as assigned by the Dean (LiPACE) or his/her nominee.
Candidates
Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence:
- A Master’s degree in related disciplines;
- Substantial relevant teaching and/or industry experience;
- Being familiar with the latest trends and developments in IT industry such as AI and other digital technologies;
- A good team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills;
- Good command of English and Chinese (including Putonghua); and
- Candidates having a strong connection with industries and professional bodies are preferred.
Terms and Conditions for Appointment
An attractive remuneration package, including basic salary, an end-of-contract gratuity, and a discretionary incentive payment, where applicable, will be offered to the right candidates.
